I have snipped with regular round point small blade scissors after a bath, and used an electric finishing trimmer when they are dry. If you can watch when he goes you might be able to get a visual on how much snipping needs to be done and then trim the area...and maybe a touch more. You can trim from just above the 'target' straight down the back to the 'extras' if he still has those...lol It will depend on how much hair he has that is 'in the way' and his 'position'...and sometimes the wind will blow, and...
