Hello. A lot of us have the same problem. It takes a while for the hair to get long enough to be put in a top knot. I let Abba's grow out, it looks very cute. Gracie's looks better with the hair above her eyes cut short, like bangs. Ginny Joy has a beautiful wide eyed face so her top knot area is left long too. Rubin has a short baby doll type face and we don't cut his face hair except the tear path, because his eyes water. He does not wear a top knot. He hates them. The other 3 Yorkies get a fresh top knot daily.
