So, I collected Ellington today! That wasn't his original name, but it is from now on!

So, Ellington is apparently about 5, and he sadly had his older lady owner pass away. He then went to another lady for this past week, but her Shih Tsus didn't like him very much. So he has had a bumpy last week or so.

I went on a three hour journey to collect him, so he has had quite a journey. We had a two hour journey, and then an hour on the London Underground. He was so good.

He doesn't yap, he likes strangers and children. Even when a little dog went for him he was ok. He did whimper a little at times, but I think its only when he needs the toilet.

On the way home we went to the vet. He weighs 6kg, which she said was a nice lean weight. He doesn't have fleas, and his eyes are ok (they looked a bit gloopy to me). He will need to be put under to have his teeth cleaned, and some removed, so I will have to start saving up for that.

We're finally home....exhausted! Ellington is now asleep next to me.

I've only ever had cats before, so it will be a learning curve for both of us!

I think he looks pretty full Yorkie....what do you lot think?
