I read about that yesterday....so sad.
We baby our dogs and dress them and try to humanize them...attribute human feelings and human reasoning to them...and seems likes we forget a dog is an animal with animal instincts. While we love them, we can't predict their behaviour no matter how long we've known them.
Can't imagine what that family is going through....horrible tragedy.
