Hijacking a thread is something that we dont' allow on the forum that I run. Reason we don't - it allows newbies (and veterans too) the ability to find information faster! They know by the title of the thread if they want to go into that thread and read it or not. They dont' have to waste their time going and reading every single word to know that they haven't missed something.
I notice here on YT that I seem to miss things by not reading every single thread there is. Reason I say that is because I see things pop up in people's signatures that say to me that something has obviously happened in a thread that I haven't read somewhere. Thing is I have read most everything so it must have been one of those hijacked threads. Heck if I know. Leaves me so very confused.
Off-topic posts could be cut down on around here. I'd love to get my hands on this forum and start deleting some of them or moving them to their own threads. Organization is key to a well run forum. Or so it is my opinion that it is.
