As for your problem with freshness Maximo - My vet suggested I store it in gallon size ziplocks in the freezer until ready to feed. I don't leave food down - I can't with the number I'm feeding and several on special diets, so if it's not gone in 5-10 minutes I pick it up and offer it for a snack later on. |
I would do that if I had a bigger freezer. For now, I stick to the 5 pound bags. The clerks at the store are always trying to push the 15-30 pound bags on me.
I'm so glad my guys eat the same thing and the same amount, lol. You must feel like a short order cook feeding your pack.
