That is a very strong sweetener that is very bad for your dog's teeth. There are also several chemicals and more sugar added down the list. Pet food companies use sweeteners to entice our pets to eat foods that they would not naturally be interested in. An all natural treat made of one ingredient like liver or chicken without additives might be a healthier option for your pet. Many of the treats sold in pet stores and department stores are full of harmful ingredients. The pet food and treat companies are not regulated by anyone so they are free to put what ever they wish in our pet foods and treats.
