 Gracie having trouble eating
Hello Everyone! I just joined a few days ago.
I brought home my female yorkie (gracie) on monday. She had some blood in her stool so I took her to the vet the next day and they found out she had giardia.Besides the blood in her stool, she was acting fine (alert, great appetite, playful, hydrated) So They gave her Metronidazol and sent us home. Since the meds she has totally dropped in appetite. I've tried softening her hard food with a little hot water, wet food, rice, skinless chicken, puppy nutrical, she wont eat much at all. The vet said to give it a day or two and then check back, but I am concerned. Gracie is 6 months old & weighs 3.2 pounds anyone have any suggestions on getting her to eat? |
