Congratulations on your new family member! Hearing about new puppies always gives me the puppy fever.

Bathing her once a week will help to make the procedure more of routine to her. Keep her warm and get her used to the blow dryer. Comb everyday. Twice a day is even better. It doesn't matter if she looks like she needs it or not. She needs to know that this is a way of life now and it will pay off as she gets older and the coat becomes more to manage. Besides keeping her combed prevents tangles that make grooming more unpleasant for her. Once she is combed through using a good pin brush will also help to finish the coat.
I have my first Yorkie and she is almost 2 now. I have had dogs all my life but have to say the Yorkie personality was quite a bit different than all the other dogs I have had. My little one thinks she is one of those terriers that used to kill rodents in past generations. She was quite an A personality as a puppy. We had to try to keep her calm because she really liked to play rough. Not all Yorkies are like that. Hopefully you have a peace loving puppy!

Best wishes on your new adventure.
