I'm lucky enough to have a great support group of many fantastic and knowledgeable breeders that I sometimes forget that there are many breeders there that are the complete opposite.

Astro hasn't come without his issues, most of which I'm quite sure stem from his stay with his breeder. He has major socialization issues. He's great with my other boy, but on his own, he is afraid of all dogs big and small, and all new people. He's also confused as to how to react to new people in his home (he goes from happy, to angry, to scared, to hiding in a corner). This has been a stark change from my other pup, who is my happy go lucky agility dog. I mistakenly had thought that I'd have a relatively clean slate to start with since he was only 7 months old when I got him. This idea was quickly squashed. He's getting better everyday though. Such a shame what a bad early life can do to such a sweet dog.

Thank you all for the support and the comments.
Your tone & statement were fine, maybe you thought mine were not & if so I apologize for that as I was not trying to make you feel bad. It's just that if you know or suspect that a Breeder may not be reputable then IMO you need to do the rite thing & share what you know so others can make an educated decision on where to purchase their new family member. There is actually a topic on YT especially for Breeder Reviews for this very purpose.
