ALWAYS look at the first three ingrediants. This will tell you what the food consists mainly of. Corn is not digestible, and some dogs are known to be highly allergic.

I'd recommend:

Nutro Natural Choice
Natures Recipe
Nutro Ultra
Royal Canin
Canidae

I hope this helps.
I recently purchased two bags of Science Diet (not at the vet). The Science Diet Natures best is a natural food. It has the same ingrediants that Chicken Soup for puppies has. I looked for corn. It is nowhere near the top of the list and i can't remember right now if it is even in it. I am in the yorkie room away from where the food is kept but I will check after church today. The adult small kibble does have corn as the first ingrediant. Both my dogs are eating it well for their free feed dry food.
