Default wet vs dry

There is a big debate about this and there is a lot of info out there to be had!! Old school is that dry food knocks some plaque off of teeth when in actuallity it isn't chewed long enough and sometimes at all to do any good. It is suggested that you brush their teeth no matter what food you feed and give them things to chew that will take the plaque off. So as long as it is a high quality canned food - which there are ones like the high quality dry without the preservatives, chemicals, and by-products and as long as you are brushing their teeth and providing the opportunity to chew than it becomes more of a personal decision. JMO. Someone might have read something else on the subject that I have missed - I would like to hear if someone has. And yes a lot of vets will still tell you that wet food is bad - but think about this too they still say that our babies HAVE to have the vaccines that we all know are not necc. the safest for them!
