It sounds like he needs to be in the hospital where he can be kept as comfortable as possible & get adequate hydration & calories. I'm so sad to hear you all are going through this terrible trial & know your energy must be far past its limits. I would agree with Patti in bringing in advocates to help you deal with Ken's doctors if they are not responsive to you. Perhaps if he gets admitted, you could speak with the hospital Social Worker assigned to Ken, the department head of Patient Relations & the Chaplain to help you in addition to family. My prayers continue for you two. I think of you frequently during the day & say a silent prayer plus mornings and at bedtime.
