Did you mention what sort of stuff you leave about for her to chew on legally? Maggie has NEVER chewed my furniture. She has a pile of different dog chews and toys to chew on. She has bully sticks, antler, stuffed toys, and an assortment of stuff from the bins that Petco has where you buy it by the pound. Right now her favorite is bully sticks. I got them from bestbullysticks.com. They are supposed to be odor free but are actually just very low odor. Make sure you look for odor free as they have both. I got a regular one at one of the pet stores and the smell made me want to throw up!
I'd get in a supply of stuff, scatter it about and when she chews the wrong thing tell her NO and get her to chew a legal item and praise her. |
