Default Seeing the whites of their eyes?

It seems like I spend all of my spare time on the internet reading this forum and looking at pictures of yorkies and yorkie puppies (both here at YT and just on the internet). I have noticed some yorkies that I can see a small part of the white of just one eye. The yorkie seems to be looking directly at the camera so I don't think it is because they are looking to the side. It is only in one eye and not in both. I am just curious what this means. Is it a genetic flaw? Just wondering, of course they are adorable anyway but I am trying to learn as much as I can about yorkies.

Any thoughts you might have are appreciated.
