I started mine on Dasuquin for preventative care. Mine are just over a year old and my little girl has clicking in her back legs. Does not slow her down know, but I know later on it most likely will.
The info said there is one rare side effect - upset tummy due to avocado intolerance - both of mine ended up with upset tummies and the squirts. So, I took mine off of it and am going to try Cosequin.
That said, the side effect is rare and very uncommon. I have a few friends who swear by the Dasuquin and have seem noticeable results in their senior dogs.
