**from Kaismommy** I'm glad you got some help for your baby. MY baby's name is Kaia. She just turned 3 years old January 15th. For the past 5 days she has had vomiting (not bloody) and diarrhea (bloody). We thought it was her period b/c she is coming into her heat cycle. I took her to the vet yesterday and told the vet everything. She said it sounded like allergies and recommended Children's Benadryl (1-2 teaspoons). I tried that every 4 hours yesterday and it totally did not help. Overnight, Kaia had diarrhea that resembled black tar. Called vet back this morning & told her & she asked me to bring Kaia back in. She diagnosied Kaia with hemorraghatic colitis and said it can be brought on by stress or dietary indiscretion/changes. No dietary stuff for Kaia, so it must be stress from her period/heat cycle. Vet agreed. Kaia is very sick, but is not dehydrated and is eating a little bit again and seems to be keeping it down. She got antibiotics and anti-nausea medicine/shots, but still seems depressed and weak. I will pray for your pup. Please pray for Kaia.
