She may have kept the other pup to breed so taking her would get her out of that situation. Can you take the pup for a vet check first before agreeing to take her and also see the checks she gas had done. This is just me but I would get that little one out if there if I could. Although I'd want to make sure she was healthy. I can feel what you are going through loosing a pup so young. A difficult choice are you close enough to visit and see the girl for yourself ?
