There is a video on Youtube on how to do the clamp and twist method. I watched it even though I am not a breeder. My opinion, I don't like it. I feel if a yorkie is going to be a show dog, then yes, dock the tail as that is the standard. However, it is going to be a pet, we should not dock the tails. Okay, off my soapbox. I believe there is another thread within this forum about the clamp/twist method that has the video attached. Good luck with your pup and I hope he is okay.
