Emma was spayed a month ago and I hadn't noticed that her baby teeth weren't coming out. Looked last week and was surprised to see two full rows of teeth on top including her canines and a few doubles on the bottom. I took her back in last week and they put her in twilight and pulled out 13 teeth. It was a quick procedure and she did just fine. The vet said I shouldn't wait and they needed to come out to prevent decay and misalignment of the adult teeth. It cost me $134 including bloodwork and take home meds.
