I give mine raw baby carrots, sometimes pieces, sometimes a whole carrot, and they are crazy about them. They eat them about the same as dogs eat a dog biscuit. They're crunchy but not rock hard. In fact they get more excited about raw carrots than any kind of meat or dog treats.
If you are just looking for healthy dog treats, there are tons and tons of brands that make organic or healthy dog treats.
About clapping when they use the potty pad--I think that would discourage them from using it. Clapping is something I would do to startle them into stopping a bad behavior. |
