Are you with your pet all day or is it crated while you are gone? If you spend time with the dog teaching her things and giving her lots of exercise she is more likely to want to settle down and snuggle at bed time. A dog that has not had much interaction through out the day has a lot of pent up energy that it needs to burn off. Try taking your little girl out for a long brisk walk and playing fetch with her for a while. If she has had a good deal of physical and mental exercise she will be more than willing to snuggle with you later in the day. These little dogs can have a high energy level that needs to be dealt with. |
