My aunt's Yorkie was taken by a coyote from their front yard a few days before Christmas in 2010. They were watching out of the window for her to finish peeing and let her back inside, and the coyote ran up so fast and ran off with her that my uncle said even if he had a gun with him, he wouldn't have had time to shoot.
