I have to tell you that I spent at least 2 hours this morning going through the internet and my Yorkie books and my dog books on the issue of Protein and it is pretty interesting. The older books really don't like protein for Yorkies but if you go into the natural food thinking process, it is not a problem. If you go on the web, you will find research that says all the testing they did on protein in dogs was done on rats. I do know that Whole Dog Journal endorses this food, which is just like a raw diet.
