Embarassed guilty of asking price first

i am going to admit, i was one of those people whos first question was "how much are your yorkies?" and for the most part, it was because when i started my yorkie search, i didnt know what else to ask- it seemed like price was the only thing that really mattered. i was unaware of any potential health problems that are associated with yorkies, i didnt know exactly what questions to ask, so i figured start with price! looking back, since hindsight is 20/20, i now have a plethora of questions i would ask before asking the price.
i just hope that prospective yorkie owners dont get shunned because of their lack of knowledge in the beginning, because i swear, i am NO expert in the breed, but each day that goes by with my little guy, i learn so much more and YT has been such a help in this whole process.
i really have a new found respect for breeders since i joined YT and actually get to see all you go thru- the joy of new puppies and even the sadness of losing your precious babies<3
Also, i always say i "adopted" Sirius- not bought him. buying him makes it sound like he is a pair of shoes or something, he is my child lol so i like to think that i adopted him. i hope that this post makes some sense to everyone- reading it over it sounds so scattered

at any rate, im looking for another puppy by the end of the year, so i will put my new breeder questions list together, but more than likely i will pm some of you amazing breeders to see if i could work with a YTer when the time comes<3
