I don't think you understand what I am saying about physical signs of life or death struggle opposed to a scuffle, what treatment would be given if serious blunt head trauma was suspected, etc. There are certain healthcare guidelines that are followed in all aspects of care, even care rendered at the scene of an accident by EMS. His lack of transfer to a hospital tells me his physical appearance on exam showed negligible (if any) injury. Unless, of course, he was adament about not going to the hospital and was made to sign Against Medical Advice paperwork. These treatment protocols are strictly followed.
