Are you happy with it - what did you ask for? Brutus has only been groomed 4 times, but the first time was horrible! He looked like a squirrel - so I would say it takes less time to cut the hair (if that's what you wanted) than for the hair to grow back. The last time we had Brutey groomed, I wasn't home (huge mistake). The boys decided that they wanted him to have a goatee and went against the directions I had left. I have learned my lesson the hard way. I think you need to really explain to the groomer what you want. The cut I liked the best was a picture I found here from Brit's little guy, Jackson. Showing a picture of my expectations really helped.

I also don't feel comfortable doing nails nor do I have any desire to express anal glands.

After my first experience, I now use a mobile groomer.
