Im not having luck with teaching stay, he wont even laydown on command without me putting the treat down where he lays. But I should try the rug idea, and just practice it alot. And it doesnt help that the huamans here dont help, lol. One minute there annoyed that he doesnt listen to them and the next minute they say they dont think they should or need to teach him stuff, and you cant have it both ways,and why is it that when he doesnt listen he's all the sudden "my" dog,lol. if you want him to listen to you, you'll have to help. Sorry for the rant.
