Hi and welcome. I have two yorkie pups. Molly's nose is longer than Lily's. I wouldn't worry too much about taking him at 8 weeks in the UK they took pups away from 6 weeks when I was little. All our dogs when I was growing up we're Round 8 weeks or so when taken from mum especially working dogs. Yyou can teach him everything he needs to know. Make sure he meets lots of other dogs (all fully vaccinated) and yelp if he bites too hard. That's what his mum would do. He looks okay to me from the pics. He's still young and his ears will change as he gets older.have him vet checked soon as possible At the end of the day as long as he is loved fed and cared for he will do just fine and I'm sure you will do this with pleasure.
