I used to have a fenced room for my cats. It was wood framed. It was about 11' X 12' and 6' high. It had an opening from the house and another outside door. I had a lilac tree in there and there was also a big shade tree near by. The cats love to have bushes and trees to hide out in and they attract things like butterflies and birds to watch.

I have seen many cats around here that have lost whole litters to bad weather and predators. When I know a female is pregnant I try to tame them enough to get them to come inside to give birth but the wilder ones just won't come in. I have been spaying and neutering the population around here for several years now but it seems there is no end. It is much better now though. We did not have a litter of kittens first time in quite a while last year. The local private animal shelter has been giving me a good discount when I take the cats there for their surgeries. They do a really good job there, too.
Those babies are going to be so much fun in a few weeks!
