Mommy Annie and Babies are adorable! Pretty blue colors. I am so glad everyone is doing so well. You are so fab to take such good care of these little ones...and it sounds like your house is very much like mine. We thought for years there was a sign in the woods pointing them our way.
It's like gracielove said...human interaction, touch, holding them a few times a day at first...massaging them like Annie will do. Cuddling...napping with them later when they're more mobile. Plus, you don't want to play/fight with them with your bare hands when they're kittens...use a fishing pole or dangling toy, string, laser pointer, etc., up to the end of their first year (forever homes, too). Let them do their play fighting with each other so they learn what hands are for...petting...and don't end up shredding yours. It's not just that the claws are sharp. You don't want them learning to play fight your bare hands because they may be less easy to pet if they learn early that hands play fight and don't understand how hard they're grabbing. Kittens are pretty easy compared to dogs, especially since Annie will teach them potty training anyway. I haven't had a litter of kittens in about 12 years, but the memories last a lifetime. You will have such fun with them. I hope you have better luck parting with them. I couldn't bear to give away the last two feral litters...too worried about their futures if I chose badly for them. Good luck, and thank you for the wonderful photos.
