ok, a little FYI, the size of the male and the female is NOT that important, unless the father is a great dane, the FEMALE controls the size of the babies until they are born.
an X ray is GOOD to do, I do x ray all my expecting females, specially a maiden bitch, but the thought that because a male is a couple of pounds bigger than the female is an automatic c section is false. Her pelvic bone is what determines if she can deliver this puppies or not..
