Dh had to race and get scissors to cut her collar but couldn't get them under it - that's how tight it was. Plus Skeeter was going nuts trying to get loose. Dh had to pull the collar tighter to get the scissors to fit. When he finally got the collar cut Adie just collapsed. She ended up with punctures in the skin on top of her head and under her chin. She had an open fontenel and it was lucky Skeeter didn't puncture that! His little claws had scratched her face too. We are lucky her tracea didn't stick together either or no amount of rescue breaths would help.
To this day Dh will not talk about what happened. It was really horrible for him. I can only imagine how he felt holding that precious little body. So no, no collars. |
OMG! That is Just HORRIBLE!!!!
