YES! I have a pug Bailey and Brandy is my yorkie. Bailey used to listen better and do tricks better before Brandy came along. If they're both together and I'm trying to get bailey to do tricks she will jump all over and try to get my attention, distracting Bailey.
I have found it's very IMPORTANT to give each one, one on one attention. If we're outside, sometimes I will put one on the other side of the fence. If we're inside I put one on the other side of the baby gate. They are easier to train when they're not competing for attention. Come is one of those things you have to teach individually. |
