All three of mine wear a collar and tags. You never know when something might happen. Every story on YT where a dog has went missing begins with "they didn't have their collar on"

If a collar fits properly there is no reason why it would get caught and cause a problem.
Please consider using a collar all the time. There was even a story about a burglary in a high rise where a Yorkie was stolen. About a month ago, in Chicago a DJ was searching for there lost Yorkie. He was being watched while the she was out of town. He slipped out of the fence and they looked for him almost a week. The story ended tragically and my heart broke.
