I have read that dogs who are fed on strict schedules anticipate eating at the appointed time and their bodies start to produce the enzymes required to digest the food. When the food doesn't arrive on time, the enzymes have nothing to do and cause digestive upset. I think this is why Teddy would throw up a little bile in the morning if I overslept. |
Honestly that makes a lot of sense because I feed her on a tight schedule. She eats about the same time in the morning and in the afternoon. I am hoping that is all it is. Thanks for the hugs and prayers. Teddy hugs will make her feel all better.
