What breed would you choose to be with around children, other animals like other dogs, horses, rabbits etc. ?
And to use in obedience, to rescue people (I'll be in the rescue team here in a few years I want to train my other future dog to be in that with me) and the dog has to be breed to follow orders well.
I have 2 yorkies one is the most stubborn thing in the world (I can't even get her to sit by a command no matter what), the other one is with me in Obedience class but he just isn't the perfect obedience dog, cause he's like Marley in Marley and me
If I'm in obedience class with him and we let all the dogs sit or lay by command and stay, then he always runs around and goes barking etc, makes the other dogs go crazy, but he's the most lovable thing, but just not right for obedience or to rescue people since he's to small in size for that, and he isn't good at following scents except it is food he will find :P
I live in Iceland here is a list of breeds that exist in my country, what would you reccomand??

By the way, the breed has to be in middle size, like a border collie in size,or like a rottweiler in size, somewhere there between.
