So in comes witch hazel, cleared his stinky face right up. Now, we just have stinky ears. So my question, has anyone used witch hazel in their pups ears or use an astringent like witch hazel for ears? The face is one thing, ears are another issue, not comfortable with this idea so much.
Also if anybody has had any experience with witch hazel I'd like to hear that about that as well. I am seriously considering adding witch hazel to his grooming regimen. At least until we get the tear stains dealt with. |
Have you tried giving him bottled or filtered water? That's what I did and it completely cleared up Rylee Belle's tear stains.
About the ear smell..............when Rylee's ears had a smell she had ear mites. I took her to the vet and honestly, it took a few weeks to get rid of them completely but the process wasn't that big of a deal!
