We have both a yorkie and maltese. They are best friends..One will not do anything without the other. We were not sure if they would get a long a yes chester our yorkie has more engery then everyone in our home..
Chester goes potty outside and chesely is trained for both but we keep her in for winter as her coat get to dirty in te snow. If we let chester out to potty out back he will stay on the stairs waiting for her to come out and play. She will do the same thing as well. It is really cute. I don't think the maltese were snobs they are just not used to your puppy yet a few more vists and they will all be friends.
