I have been reading about the salmon oil for dogs and this brand has gotten 4 and 5 stars consistently. A lot of the reviews have said that it helped with dander/dandruff and dry skin. I can get an 8 oz. bottle on Amazon.com for quite reasonable. I would prefer to use something specifically for dogs then just cut open one of my own fish oil capsules that have other oils in it as well. Plus this comes in a pump container.

Any input on if and what brand/type of fish oils you guys use would be appreciated.

I THINK I found a great groomer in my area. She answered all my questions (said she thinks she knows about the groomer that I took her to that SUCK!D - without me saying the name of the place - said she gets new customers who say the same thing I did and they don't go back to this place), her prices are great, her reviews are all 5 star, she got Best of Boston 2011 and has been grooming for 20 years. SO, I am going to wait till the end of April and take my doggie there.

In the meantime, I have to try and get this dandruff under control because I swear I am having an allergic reaction to it. I try and vacuum the kitchen and the couch where we sit, I wash my clothes her bedding, etc., all the time. But the stuff just keeps coming off her. Now, worse than ever since I took her to the bad groomer. I don't know what the he!! shampoo they used. I don't want to even bath her for a long time because she is SO dry.

Hence my decision to try the salmon oil.
Yes I've used it. Mine did well with it. I would suggest that you do wash her, there could be traces left from whatever the groomer used and may be irritating her. Sometimes oatmeal shampoos can trigger allergies in dogs, so maybe a mild puppy shampoo would be good to use atr this time.
