I prefer the metal wire crates. They have great ventilation (although many pups seem to like a cover over the top & three sides so it's like a cave), and are easy to clean/sanitize. I don't like the plastic, cos it holds smells...and well...it's plastic. And you're right about the mesh/fabric crates being a chewing hazard, so while I have a portable one of those, it is only every used under supervision. |

I do like the metal crates best, but I just worry about her getting her paws or even head stuck in between the wires..
