Well guys he is still doing pretty good. His Mom is now in the hospital in ICU now. She is on dialysis and her shunt is infected so now she is septic. Guess when it rains it pours huh? This is the same way our year started last year. He is handling it pretty well. He overdid himself yesterday and was very tired but is up this morning and says he feels ok. I think they are planning surgery for Monday to remove the shunt and put a central line in. They can't do it before then due to the blood thinners she is on. I went the other day for a interview at another facility and then yesterday went to an area hospital and put my application in. Right now I work day shift at an area nursing home and both positions I am looking at would be night shift. I am searching for something I guess and don't know what it is. I have started my research on what it would take for me to go back to school. Hopefully my hubby will keep feeling well, we will get good news on his Mom and I can make the right career choices. |
