SET Yorkies allows you to be put on a waiting list so I am definitely going to get a puppy eventually, and most likely in my time frame but I am not sure which route to go. SET Yorkies offers spaying before the puppies are shipped which might be better as the breeder has a lot of experience with her vet I am sure so it might be better that way. |
I personally would not have a female spayed until she is 6 months or older because it gives them time to grow and have a good weight on them plus you will know around that time what baby teeth are going to need to be pulled instead of getting spayed and then possibly having to go back under and get teeth pulled. I also am not a fan of shipping don't think it's good for the poor pup. But I think it's great if there is someone who is on the plane and the pup is on the plane with the person or if you fly and get the pup and she flys back with you. Cargo is not a good or safe place for dogs in my opinion and I know lots of people fly them that way but lots go missing and get sick.
