I assume you are from New York State from your name. There are some well established breeders of Yorkies in New York and in the New England states. It would be a good thing if you could get a puppy from someone where you can go and visit the place and the puppies.

You will be able to contact conformation clubs through the AKC site and they will also be able to give you information on breeders in the North East. I know it takes time to track down a breeder that will help you. It is best to talk to a lot of people and gain information. If you just buy the first possibility of a pup you could end up with a lot of heartache. I'm just trying to point you in the right direction. I know Long Island has some experienced breeders. It also has some great scammers so look for some one that has had genetic testing done and has a very good contract that protects you as well as the seller.
