Gizmo is doing great. He has grown a little bit and now weighs 10 lbs 8 oz Hopefully he won't grow much more. He still loves to be groomed and I
love grooming him. Here is a recent picture of him. It doesn't show how much his coat has changed. It is so soft so maybe that Silky coat he has been praying for is going to show up after all. The back of his neck is turning beige. The coat on his back is what I would call salt and pepper but the hair closest to the skin is more silver than black. Oh by the way that is my DH holding him.
Now deep down in my heart I was still hoping the DNA test was wrong until I found this picture on the internet showing Chinese Crested dogs both hairless and the powder puff. Doesn't Gizmo look just like the Chinese Crested powder puff on the left. So now I am proud to say my Gizmo is a Chinese Crested powder puff who has the personality of a Yorkie.
Seriously Gizzy is the perfect dog for us and we love him so much.
