We have much compassion for people who spend hundreds of dollars on that little Yorkie they have been wanting only to find a few months later that that little puppy isn't looking much like a Yorkie to them or has behavioral issues that cannot be solved.
It is heartbreaking for a Yorkie owner to find out their pet has liver shunt and they cannot come up with the thousands of dollars needed for surgery and after care. People really care for and have compassion for these people.
Yeah, some people get really worked up about someone breeding Yorkies that doesn't know or care about what they are doing. People felt bad for the OP at first until it became clear her major concern was that she wanted to a breeding pair and not a couple of pets.
There are breeders on YT. Some have spent many years and dollars in order to better the breed and not exploit it. They invest everything they ever get from the sale of a puppy back into the business so they are able to show in public what they have been doing for the betterment of the Yorkshire Terrier. |
Beautifully said, though some will never get it. Still, those that do - true Yorkie-
lovers will always opt for what is best for their dogs and and the overall best health and well-being of this wonderful breed.
