On the day of surgery, if you can, try to stay super, super busy and plan something fun - a movie or something, if you can. You can't help your baby one bit home sitting by the phone scared silly so get your cell and get out and about. You'll worry a bit less that way and before long you will get the call that it is all done and she is waking up and the time you can pick her up. And then post for us so we can know she's fine. She'll be whiney and needy that night due to the effects of the anesthesia still kind of affecting her a bit if she's anything like Jilly and Tibbe but by the next day, she should be her old self but still with tender gums so plan soft feeding accordingly for a few days.
