can i just add... it is so difficult to find anyone in Louisiana that i feel comfortable with. seems like there are yorkie breeders all over the place( around 2-3 hours) from me. All of their sites look just like the above. We were lucky with Dickie, because i am not confident he came from a very good breeder himself. Ive not been a truly lucky person my entire life, so im not one to think id be lucky twice in row. My wife and I want to be very careful this time, but its time. He is six months old, and due to his size, its so hard to socialize him. He loves people so much, but he just does not fit in around the dog parks.... we try. we want him to have a friend his size. we are so worried we might get a new yorkie who is to big for him, hurts him, or intimidatez him. we never expected him to be "tiny" but he is. little over 3lbs. does not take much to be larger than him. he wants to play with other dogs so bad, we can see it in his eyes, but we just cannot let him. we had a 8 week old lab almost swat him to death...a puppy. we just need a small yorkie. we are getting frustrated because we know he needs a friend, yet we dont want him to be threatend by a larger dog... really frustrated.
then add to that, that i dont really have the time to travel more than 3-4 hours on a weekend to visit a breeder. uugghhh
