No your not being too sensitive. She was being rude. My vet's ladies know these are my babies and I am going to do what ever is needed to get them help. When my Rosie got sick last time I was pushed before everyone else because it was an emergency (She was vomiting and pooing with blood in it). The vet came out and got her immediately and took her back. There is no way I would have waited 2 to 3 hours. You need to seek out a vet that is caring and knowledgeable as well as pleasant ladies (or men) who can assist you when needed. If you really like the vet then he needs to know about what is going on up front. If you don't really like him, start asking around or doing some research and find a new one. Good luck! I know that is not always an easy task.
