Just now seeing this. Glad everything ended up being ok. But I would either talk to my vet about the girl's attitude or I would find another vet. To me, she didn't sound very caring? Totally different attitude with the ladies that work at my vet. You are paying for the services there and you deserve to be treated with respect. It seems that she "blew you off". And 2-3 hour wait is way too long for an emergency situation. End of rant. Glad your baby is ok.
